ABOVE GROUND POOLS
By Arindra Yudha Oktoberry

When we discuss about ’swimming pools’, people are generally more familiar with inground pools than aboveground pools. This can be advised because we have been using inground pools for long time period since it existed. However, the facts show that nowadays, aboveground pools are being more often spoken. So spelled, aboveground pools are popular among swimming interests and property owners. From various aspects, aboveground pools advantages are greater than inground pools.
First, economic point of view. We know, to build an inground pools we absolutely need land that is quite wide and of course for families who do not have a wideyard, this is a problem. That is not less important, the cost of building inground pools are expensive. Approximately U.S. $ 20,000 to U.S. $ 50,000 we will spend to build an inground pools.
Whereas for an aboveground pools, we certainly do not need a land that is wide, because aboveground pools are available in many sizes that can be tailored to the availability of land. Then, to buy an aboveground pools we only need to pay about U.S. $ 1,500 to U.S. $ 7,000 only.
Second, safety point of view. Aboveground pools are located on the ground which will safe from the reach of children, pets, like dogs, cats, birds, and so forth. The higher position than the surface of land or floor make aboveground pools more difficult to reach by a kid, as he must ascend to reach the pools. Similarly with our pets, they certainly can not easily slide to aboveground pools, although there are currently a lot of pool covers available in the market which can be used to wrap the surface of inground pools.
Third, installation point of view. Aboveground pools are easy to install. In fact, many manufacturers are now providing instruction video for the product in one package. So, by watching the video, we can easily install the aboveground pools ourselves. We only need a few hours to establish this aboveground pools, really saving our time. Compare them with inground pools, certainly, we must employ carpenters or contractors for the building for several days or weeks.
Fourth, maintenance point of view. Aboveground pools are easier to be maintained. As long as we clean them regularly and ensure that the dissolved chemicals in the water does not exceed the minimum limit, the aboveground pools are quite safe and well-treated. Then we also need to check the water temperature in this pools, and also ensure that no foreign materials fall into our aboveground pools, such as leaves, plastic waste, bottles, and others.
